These are young adults, fully sexual grown being, who can make their own choices. Indeed 16-year-olds can go to war in most Western countries, the US included. Note, these are late teens, 17-19. Jag January 31, 2013 at 11:39 pm I don’t see much comedy in this story, but most good dramas have some comic relief. The SNL characters might work for someone other than McAfee. Otherwise you turn the story into a “Johnny Danger” fictional comedy and I don’t think that would work. WEB January 31, 2013 at 11:16 pm That should be obvious. SMH The biggest threat to the USA is the porous nature of it’s borders, combined with the ease of Canadian Citizenship for thousands yearly and the free nature the two countries enjoy between themselves. So why do I care Schad? Well, I reside in the USA, and don’t care to ever see a repeat of 9/11. Ever. Belize asks for help in 2011, the gov’t guys writes an note to the PM in 2012, and almost a year after that we hear about it…..yeah, that sounds about right for government…SMH Now let’s open the box a bit. Canada has one of the most liberal immigration policies in the world. As a result, entire neighborhoods have been taken over. This is no tall tale, this is factual and quite chilling. While in a Government building this summer (I spent 6 weeks in Canada), I was shocked to see this phenomenon up close and personal. My host went on to explain that anyone immigrating to Canada is encouraged to maintain their native culture, and bring it with them. There is no request to assimilate, learn the language, or mingle with the natives…….. encouraged by the Government itself! WHAT A CLUSTER FUCK. Many many years ago the Sikhs petitioned and won the right to wear their daggers with their RCMP uniforms!!!!!!! The GOC also allows religious garb to be worn in passport photos, even if it covers part of the face. My host went on to tell me it was just a matter of time before they had enough of any given country’s former citizens to start being elected to Government. The implications are gigantic and far reaching. Think about it….. Anyone who doubts the browning of Canada, need only Google a few of the names Canadians have given the neighborhoods where they no longer feel welcome. Bramladesh……formerly 2 cities – Brampton and Bramalea Mississaughlabad…….formerly Mississauga The combined total population of these cities is about 1.5 million people. There was a new subdivision recently built north of Brampton…..it has already been dubbed Singhtown and my host could not remember its intended name. Which brings me back to the GOB requesting help from the GOC. Is the Belizean government sharp enough to understand the potentials of a partnership with Canada? Is it just a fluke they requested help from them? I for one will be paying close attention. Remember how the Defense Attorney for the Menendez brothers insisted on calling them “boys”, despite the fact they were 18 & 21? It was nothing more than a contrivance to impel thoughts of innocent children, not barbarous men. And so, while the use of the word ‘teenager’ is promulgated to obscure comprehension (gotta sell newspapers), I do agree with Sandwillow that 13 thru 19 are teenage years. That said, by the time most females have reached 16 (+/-), they are by all accounts, young women, laughing at the immaturity of boys their own age. ;)~ Newspapers won’t call them ‘young women’ as it would never amass the desired coterie imperative to their success. If The Powers that Be and Policia are so corrupt in Belize, they could easily plant whatever they wanted at both of JM residences. ( it is a known speciality of theirs ) They had full access to both properties on many occasions. It would be an easy task to plant Cocaine ( there are tons of it washed up on Belizian beaches now in their “safe keeping” ) or unliscenced weapons, bath salts.. the list is endless. A warrant for McAfee’s arrest for possession of would have been easy if they run the law. Many eye witnesses say that they saw the Policia and other Government agents bring full bags of “stuff” INTO the house.in San Pedro .. as well as taking full bags Out. What were they bringing into the House? and why ? As far as what was taken out… the local rumor by the “Banana Telegraph ” is that they had a McAfee Flea market at the town square in San Pedro recently , selling McAfee “trinkets ” McAfee has mentioned thousands upon thousands of dollars of his personal property has gone missing since the raids on his his properties. Jag January 29, 2013 at 1:25 am BTW, sorry for the typos, but this blog’s format is really primitive with no left click and buffer editing to check spelling. Jag January 29, 2013 at 1:21 am I agree that article starts out biased implying that JM might be guilty, but it doesn’t mention any substantial proof other than JM fled the country after it happened, which is proof of nothing. There is nothing in that article that implies that Sen Nelson or Faul’s mother thinks that McAfeee has anything to do with the Faul murder. The only quote from Faul’s mother referencing JJM in that article: “She said Faull and McAfee had no history together before living near each other.” In other words, nothing that implicates suspicion of JM as having anything to do with it. It’s not uncommon for an Aemerican diplomat such as a senator or congressman to intervene in a case like this. Especially since the story is so high profile now. He is proud of them. They are all over the age of consent in Belize, which is 16. They are all now over the age of consent in all 50 states, 18. They are old enough to vote and join the military. . The girls all know about each other do John is not being deceitful in any way.He offers them a place to live, support in pursuing education and most importantly, his love… . They offer him whatever they wish to, he does not force them to do anything and they can leave anytme they wsh. . Even before the Faull murder occurred, the media was all over the “teenage” girls story. Wired made sure they had plenty of pictures. John himself has posted wuite a few. . You don’t have to agree with everything he does in order to support him. Maybe your puritanical heart doesn’t like that he smokes 😛 . We need to think a little outside the box on this and set aside personal prejudis. John is a good man. He provides for all his girls quite nicely and ask for very little in return. As I said above, they are credited with having started Silicon Valley. . It isn’t a local thing, it’s an international thing. The name Hewlett-Packard is recognized all over the world. Just like the name McAfee. . Had I not already known who Dave Packard was, I would have looked it up. I apologize if you took offense. Age has nothing to do with knowing the history of Silicon Valley. I know how big the world is 😛 I have just never met anyone in this big ole’ world who did not know the name Hewlett-Packard. Robert Gemerek January 28, 2013 at 8:15 am It reminds me of something a co-worker once told me. It went something like this: Think of a dogs body and now think that it represents a job or corporation. at the tail are the people who make minimum wage and are always moving/working…. and the back legs of the dog are the people making just above minimum wage….maybe at the assistent manager level or the equivilent position. as you move up the dog you do less work for more money and eventually you reach the head of the dog. The head represents the CEO or president of the company…..the person(s) with all the power, who make all the decisions, who do the least amount of labor, and who get paid/rewarded with the most amount of money/power for it. just thought id share : ) connie January 28, 2013 at 8:06 am I don’t care for Bill Nelson at all. He voted on all the cuts to the space program at NASA even though he benefited from the programs when he was a former astronaut. Once again the writer slants the article toward John’s guilt in the murder of GF. For instance, he is wanted for questioning in Belize, “but refuses to cooperate”. Contacted the embassy in Belize, but they were no help!!! Imagine that. I don’t look for anything to come of this. Nelson is just appeasing the family. Nad January 28, 2013 at 7:18 am This is amazing how this journalist talk, like there’s something wrong with McAfee now. He obviously have no clue what life is about. First of all, 18 yo age is considered as teen’s age only in the US. In other countries, teen’s age ends at 14. I am not an American and when I hear that 18-24 yo people called “teens” – it makes me laugh. I feel, it is intentional (on purpose) minimizing American young people mental and physical abilities in the US. In m 19 I already had a diploma and was ready to educate teens (who 12-14) in school. It was not in the US. So, conclusion for public: McAfee attracted to young women, not teens. It can be for many reasons: young women have more beautiful bodies + they have more sharp brains. Sure, I am not in support of the harem… However, if those young women like to be in a harem (they probably pray on a white man and ready to do anything), then who cares? Wake up, America!: 18 yo people are not teens! They are clever, sophisticated and experienced young people (of course if they do not mental issues or live on some kind “welfare” that make them mentally disable.) I believe, America reached this decadence situation in society because the young people were treated in many ways as insufficient, like “teens”. Again: normally in teens age ends when people are 13-14. bob January 28, 2013 at 4:04 am You do realize it’s the girls that are taking advantage of a wealthy old man[s money, don’t you. connie January 28, 2013 at 4:03 am Did they say erotica products? I heard the rest and also video games! Interesting take on it. Got me thinking. John McAfee January 28, 2013 at 1:46 am I don’t know him, that’s all. Notice how the press works: He- “what about Zuckerman” Me – “I don’t know him” He – “But you must have seen the movie or something….” So here he is trying to get a man who admits he does not know someone to nevertheless pass a judgement of some kind — “A good man – A bad man – – – SOMETHING” I knew only that he had to be smart because his success was a measurable fact. So I said he was smart. This is how the press works. Had I imparted any other judgement the press would have jumped on it and made some kind of news — “McAfee believes Zuckerman is …….” I spoke the only truth I knew – “I do not know the man.” A more complete answer would have bee: “I have never met him, as I already told you, so the only information I might possess is information provided to me by the press, which in turn largely collects it’s information from other people who also have not met him by playing games such as you are now playing. To ask me to regurgitate that back to you is the height of rudeness.” But that answer itself would have been rude so I bit my tongue” John McAfee January 28, 2013 at 1:20 am That”s odd .. Because the teenage girls was all the press talked about for months. The Wired Magazine piece was peppered with photos, as was Gizmodo, the New York Times, The daily Mail and nearly every newspaper in the world. Dateline spent almost thirty minutes of it’s two hour broadcast talking about them and even interviewed two of them and put them on the air. Half of my blog posts have pictures of the girls, and Sam, in particular, is referenced in more than 20 of my posts. I’m sorry that you missed the fact that I have these girlfriends while you were engaged in the process of supporting me from the beginning. WEB January 27, 2013 at 9:55 pm It’s nice that you know so much about your local surroundings. On another note, just found this article: http://www.floridatoday.com/article/20130127/NEWS01/301270036/Sen-Nelson-aids-local-family-murder-victim-McAfee-case David Snider January 27, 2013 at 12:44 pm I was thinking the Wag the Dog reference was more directed toward the angle the media has approached the situation. Making the focus more on Greg Faull’s murder avoiding obvious bigger picture of government corruption. They want to interview John, But do not want to ask the important controversial questions about government corruption so they keep the attention on one single event that was just one part of the entire story. His Murder was just one effect of a greater cause. John is most likely a victim of the greater cause just the same as Faull but john was not murdered because he managed to get away before he was murdered when Greg unfortunately did not. The media are ignoring the fact that the police in Belize have sinse discovered there is so little evidence to claim john is the culprit and have sense moved on. From what I hear and from what others have heard is the Belize police has just about dropped pursuing the case and most likely just waiting on more evidence to drop in their laps. Faull’s family has been very unfortunate in loosing their son but in a way are lucky john had at first thought to be the culprit because if it wasn’t for johns attention in this matter their sons murder would have already been just about been forgotten and given up on completely. My thoughts are this. John is obviously not guilty. I think that has been proven. John has offered a 25,000 reward for information leading to Greg’s murderer. No real information has been delivered on this to collect…so people involved must be in the position that 25,000 is not too compelling. So that makes the people involved a different level of individual. So what people out there would want Greg dead that thinks 25,000 is chump change? I think this is the direction and thought process that needs to be taken to further their investigation. I think this investigation will eventually lead and touch base with johns main concern here. Government corruption. I think everything will eventually come full circle. —“when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?” rumsrite January 27, 2013 at 12:35 pm Quit trying to name drop. nora hahn January 27, 2013 at 12:21 pm good to see you smile more and you look healthier : ) iceesurfer January 27, 2013 at 11:42 am Must have been a Red Sea Pedestrian Female then.. arr arr. iceesurfer January 27, 2013 at 11:40 am Good Luck Down there… I feel for the Folks in Belize. It appears as if as long as one is penniless and possessing nothing all is OK. Per Se… As soon as One has anything, or shows it. All bets are off. Although I suppose there are many situations where One Knows their Neighbors and things are nice and Family-Style. But Why would a news Source Report that..>? Feel-Good news..? Not. The Media reports primarily the Heinous Stuff and creates a sense that the Bizzareness is regular daily life… I have spent a lot of time in Deve.loping Nations, but Not BZ.. Is it crazy everywhere all the time, crimewise..? You Tell Me.. ‘Cause I am not going to visit – Respectfully, It is a Big World, and dealing with such a Corrupt Society even as a traveller is not wise.. If I was hearing your story for the first time, I wouldn’t go see your movie. Just sayin’. connie January 27, 2013 at 11:13 am Sorry meant green eyes… rumsrite January 27, 2013 at 11:07 am Bonkers looks like manson! Bewitched , Bothered and Bewildered January 27, 2013 at 10:39 am Maybe the blog thus far, has just been a “Teaser” , to get readers involved in the movie , book, McAfee blow up dolls (with a five hour battery life), erotic play toys, sex enhancers, female Viagra … or whatever else he might sell as part of the new McAfee Branding. The girls might even have their own line of products, or start an erotic social engineering “how to” school He has a built in audience for what is to come. We are now up close and personal with his interactive postings , more personally involved .. When will he discontinue the blog? Leaving us fiending for more so we will be the first in line for the movie(s) , ebook and ….spread the word Wasn’t that the ” first of a kind ” marketing strategy he used with McAfee anti virus product Give them just a taste.. For free …then start charging when we fiend for more …just like any good drug dealer would do Our days of “freeware ” may be numbered The really good stuff , the surprise ending, you know , will be saved for the more commercial enterprise. His postings, now few and far between, are such a tease, leave them wanting for more, let them crave…For me, it disrupts the flow, but Hey what can we expect for Free? His name is, McAfee, after all . Oh well, I’m enjoying the ride for however long it might last. em January 27, 2013 at 9:07 am I’ll tell you what also sells… Mcafee’s endpoint encryption. LOL i dont mind it! Did anybody else read the wired article on Mcafee? it was incredible Greg Jenkins January 27, 2013 at 8:50 am Dear John, You don’t know me from Adam, my Personal/Physical security experience is documented and speaks for its self. Personal Security for both Presidents Reagan and Bush Sr., not to mention numerous foreign and domestic diplomats, without flaw. Private business with both foreign & domestic government(s) resulting in “HUGE” political battles, with much more powerful individuals than Belize officials. Most recently, (Bill & Hillary Clinton) & (United Nations TOP officials) over the ongoing situation in Haiti, resulting in a current stalemate. Again, documented not just my words. While serving the U.S. Government, I was trained by the “BEST” in the world Personal/Physical Security authorities and have since trained what are now considered the “BEST” in the world Personal/Physical Security authorities! Thus my reason for previously questioning (not criticism) your selection of your prior security leader, not its force members. I truly understand the meaning of “dirty deeds done dirt cheap”! As you well know Dr. Johnny, security is a top priority! Not only when it comes to your PC, but especially when it comes to protecting yourself! Lead, eat, sleep & move! Best regards, GJ Greg Jenkins January 27, 2013 at 8:22 am Dear John, Lead, eat, sleep & move! Please do not stop moving, KEEP MOVING DR. JOHNNY! You have my email address, please send me a simple contact email, I will send to you some important info, (I do not wish to divulge on this BLOG), regarding your latest actions. If I don’t receive no problem, I am going to send Chad an email with some important info, please ask for it, as your life could possibly depend on it. Because I truly care, believe it or not! 🙂 This media game actually makes me sick to my stomach. (All “interviews” & “coverage”) As you well know, at this point the Belize government is feeling the heat (Raging Fire) and their silence could be deadly. “Their plan” is a simple one, at this point I recognize it from past experience. Your current actions are playing right into their hands, believe it or not. You may still have a long life ahead Dr. Johnny, or you may NOT, It all depends on you and your personal security tactics, today, tomorrow and for the future. Lead, eat, sleep & move! Best regards, Greg Jenkins Ellen January 27, 2013 at 7:06 am Just another quick note for John McAfee on Steve Jobs. My Dad knew Dave Packard and worked a the Page Mill site for 10 years as VP of Contracts. He remembers Steve Jobs coming to work as a summer intern. Steve Jobs mentions that at his last speech in Cupertino. Because I was just looking up the Stanford speech I found the Cupertino one and can now share that with my Dad. Thanks!!! My roots in this valley go so far back that I remember at the age of 10 my Dad telling me that the computers were going to talk to each other. I remember thinking…what? Ellen January 27, 2013 at 6:39 am Another suggestion for a good actor to play JM would be Daniel Day Lewis if an official movie ever comes out. The life story of Steve Jobs is quite interesting. He grew up 10 minutes from me in the Bay Area. Apparently, his adopted father put in a lot of time with him doing mechanics in the garage when he was young. The day he passed away there was a triple rainbow. I’ve read that his last words were “wow, wow, wow!” I did everything possible for Mr. McAfee because I was working in Santa Clara in the 80’s for a tiny high tech company . I was helping my Dad’s computer company in the 70’s. Having John McAfee in a country without trials was for me like watching that happen to Edison or Einstein. I’m glad he’s in America. Sorry the press so often tries to paint a certain false picture of you. Good idea to start a social engineering school. connie January 27, 2013 at 5:28 am Hey Chad, I love the new pic at the header of John (wow really blue eyes!). Would love to see more. Hope your ok. connie January 27, 2013 at 4:03 am Yawn. So what did we gather that we didn’t know already? John doesn’t like Mark and Bill as much as he liked Steve. Ok well that’s nice. Most people would probably answer that the same way. WTF does that have to do with what is going on here? So Raj kept leading every question to John was trying to sell the movie only. I loved the part about “so you assume that I am a clean and sober CEO that my lifestyle is a standard lifestyle.” Like one day John decided to move to a country where he would be extorted for his money, property damaged and stolen, animals killed, put in jail, harassed, and run for his life all so later he could make a movie and sell a book. Really? Bewitched , Bothered and Bewildered January 27, 2013 at 12:35 am WAG THE DOG: To ‘wag the dog’ means to purposely divert attention from what would otherwise be of greater importance, to something else of lesser significance. By doing so, the lesser-significant event is catapulted into the limelight, drowning proper attention to what was originally the more important issue. The expression comes from the saying that ‘a dog is smarter than its tail,’ but if the tail were smarter, then the tail would ‘wag the dog.’ It a diversion tactic, something that JM has mastered to an art form … Instead of the focus being all about him…he diverted attention to all about them , the media , creating doubts about a fair and balanced report . The more skeptical have asked if in JM is diverteting attention away from Mr Faull’s murder to the corruption in Belize, terrorists, the Girls. Maybe that’s why we “fiend” for more substantial information as to what was uncovered in his social experiment . .His last Post of the the girls, part 2 was posted 10 days ago . It’s all in the timing… in his own time … Ya can’t push the River but …the natives are getting restless … Just sayin’ Jag January 26, 2013 at 11:51 pm I should qualify that. I.E. just a 1 or 2 hour sit down interview with an Oprah or Barbara and not some guy who follows you for 2 days trying to create a tabloid style story. Jag January 26, 2013 at 11:33 pm John, I hope you do an interview with someone who is not so hostile next time. And maybe more welll respected, like Oprah or Barbara Walters. Jag January 26, 2013 at 11:20 pm I have no problem with the playboy multiple girl friend thing if you can afford it and the girls like it. Conrad January 26, 2013 at 11:13 pm Teenage girlfriends are a pain in the ass. Rest assured. Y There are playoffs but as I age it doesn’t equal out anymore. Guess I’m growin up. Lol Not Jag January 26, 2013 at 11:12 pm The comment regarding Zuck was regarding JM’s comment about “…well seems to be a smart kid..” Zuck is a new kid to the Valley from the East coast. He has no history yet. But he is a smart kid. Same school that Gates dropped out of to make billions of dollars (Harvard). Too busy making billions of dollars to wait for graduation from Harvard. But in 10 years, Zuck will have a legacy similair to Gates, in Silicon Valley. WEB January 26, 2013 at 10:02 pm Well put iceesurfer. And when I meet a perfect person, then and only then will I believe I have met someone adept to judge others. Ironically, if they’re truly perfect, they won’t judge, because they’ll know that it’s inherently wrong to do so….. DB January 26, 2013 at 8:59 pm John controlled the interview, instead of Raj (the media) controlling it. He was very adroit at distracting Raj from the intended focus of the interview. iceesurfer January 26, 2013 at 8:44 pm Hells Yeah, if I may say so…! That was a fine exhibition of HUEVOS, Mr. McAfee..!!! Couldn’t agree more. The Media as a total Entity could do SO much better to actually EXPOSE People to New and Different Points-of-View, instead of Steering it into the Mediocre and Mundane, as well as unnecessarily Dramatic.. Jeesh… It was Well-Evidenced by the Opening Drivel from the Two Beauty Queen NewsCaster Dolls. No One goes on an interview and skewers the Whole Press like that… Although rarely do People get a chance to do so.. Way to Jump on That Chance.. ! Only Jon Stewart maybe, and He can only go So far.. His Freedom is not in Jeopardy, etc…. iceesurfer January 26, 2013 at 8:34 pm Age differences are far more accepted in European Societies. i.e. The FRENCH Rule…. Men, take your age and HALF it, then add SEVEN. This is the perfect age for Your Mate.. hahaha… Works for Me.. ! For JM and people like Him.. I Divide our age by 4, and add SEVEN.. then subtract a couple.. haha.. Go Do Your Thing Buddy. People are “On Your Wagon,:” because Most lead lives of quiet desperation. On other Peoples’ Schedules.. Enslaved is the American Way. They love to see People Buck the Shitstem. Peace. iceesurfer January 26, 2013 at 8:27 pm It’s easy to be self-righteous. I feel a touch of it too. But I am aware that making a Judgement of any nature says more about the Utterer than it does about the Subject.. John McAfee, in this case, but anyone else for that matter. David Snider January 26, 2013 at 7:24 pm Was just wondering why he seemed a bit excited to get to the Marky Mark Zuckerberg question. I had the feeling he was hoping you would talk badly of him. And when you didn’t he seemed disappointed and appeared to start coaxing you into giving an opinion. I’m thinking because if you said something bad about Zuckerberg it would be a great quote in the article. They are always fishing for the juice. Would of been great if you would of answered “Mark is my illegitimate son” Would of been hilarious. Do have one question for you. You nicknamed this interview “Wag the dog” though I do understand the meaning what was you referring to naming it this? jack January 26, 2013 at 7:00 pm where is this dateline piece everyone is talking about? Hope your story includes your findings and your interaction/knowledge about the government here in Belize. Knowledge is power. Please help us who are still here. Chris January 26, 2013 at 2:33 pm Great interview. I wish the media would get off the murder mystery topic and take on the Belize corruption topic. So many innocent Americans are imprisoned overseas. That would be a good topic to take on. How about the inhumane conditions that Americans live in while in a foreign prison. Another great topic. iceesurfer January 26, 2013 at 2:08 pm Raj Matthai was rather Coarse, bordering on A-Holish.. Is that his normal Screen Manner..? Not Sure it is.. Must be what his “Hype-Fueled Sensationalist Bosses” Wanted.. I knew something was “Amiss” When I heard the Introduction to the Interview by the Two Talking Head Females… Very Rookie-ish. If the nbc People were “in” on the Story, they would not have performed so Judgementally.. They were worse than most of the interviewers, by far… Jeesh.. Raj came off as simply Rude, and his Body Language said “Arrogant” Maybe Envious. . Way to “Bother With The Guy, JM” SL January 26, 2013 at 2:02 pm You are looking much better health wise. . Your mind is still quite sharp, I don’t know where people think you are going crazy… you sound incredibly sane to me. . I was excited when i saw you did this interview then realized you did it in Portland and not our beautiful bay area… Padraig January 26, 2013 at 12:14 pm This is brilliant! Great job John! Robert Gemerek January 26, 2013 at 9:43 am I said i wasnt going to post again but i found that first part very moving and i think it was an amazing summery of something rarely talked about (especially on the news itself)……is that the news industry as an institution has such a surprisingly large amount of power and influence and alot of that is not obvious to most people because its not ment to be. So, i think their is a desperate need for major changes and reforms within the news industry so its actually benefiting mankind instead of hindering its progress. Ron Z January 26, 2013 at 9:20 am Have I been banished from comments ? Ron Z January 26, 2013 at 9:19 am Why more than two days for a moderation ? Just a simple question. Gaby January 26, 2013 at 8:24 am You did great. I especially liked your comments on the media. So true. Loved your honesty about why you have been courting the press. I wish they would ask you some different questions though. They are always the same ones. Courage..you have alot of patience. WEB January 26, 2013 at 8:11 am Well now we know why you’ve been AWOL, lol. I liked this interviewer, he actually had the balls to question some of your answers, and even if you didn’t deviate from the original response, he dug for the information others seem to want. Having ‘been there, done that’ , it was nice to see you admit how much ‘wicked crazy’ money fucks a person up. Most people don’t see it for the curse it can be….for those I suggest the Lottery Winners series. So, Vigo Mortensen huh? ELLEN suggested, and I seconded Jeremy Irons. He’s one sexy man too. Just another thought to throw into the hat, lol. Hopefully someone will post all these comments soon, nothing’s been updated since Thursday night. I asked then about a Sammy update…….anything you can share? Gaby January 26, 2013 at 7:44 am Here is the link to this interview. http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/The-Interview-John-McAfee-188136041.html Sandwillow January 26, 2013 at 7:08 am The first interviewer to mentioned that you gave to charities, something that is commonly left out when you are described by the media. Powerisastateofmind January 26, 2013 at 6:42 am Mr McAfee, you sir, are a pimp. I mean this in the best of ways. John T January 26, 2013 at 6:36 am Sort of a shallow interview on the reporter’s part (reaffirming what John said about the media). One quick question about the murder, then off to craziness and sex. Eli January 26, 2013 at 6:33 am Loved Steve too and also cried when read his address to Stanford as well as on his death. DB January 26, 2013 at 2:34 am Good interview. You answered tough questions with great compusure, and your admiration of Steve Jobs was obviously sincere. You handled the follow up questions on Gates and Zukerberg skillfully, in a very gracious manner. The bleeps humanized you, and I enjoyed that you openly shared your disdain of the media with Raj, in a nonpersonal way. Isaak Sirko January 26, 2013 at 1:57 am Not too keen on the Zuck and his data gathering website then? Jag January 26, 2013 at 1:40 am I don’t get the Facebook thing either, but I do know that at least 500 million real people use it. They have the internet addresses to prove it. Zuckerberg may be a kid, but he is a total genius, just like you John 🙂 Jag January 26, 2013 at 1:34 am There is no evidence, I have seen, that impicates JM in the muder of his neighbor. But there is a motivation for JM to leave the country to avoid being framed or otherwise blackmailed by a corrupt government. David Snider January 26, 2013 at 1:26 am Love how the media preps the audience with keywords to influence the thoughts of the viewers. In the first 30 seconds the words cocaine, alcohol, murder, teenage women, Guns are used. The introduction itself quickly shows the intentions of the press on this one. Then the rest of the interview is focused on trying to paint you as someone who has lost his mind and is completely Coo Coo. Its obvious they were extremely Bias from the beginning. And the angle they went with in this interview touches on your statement about the media saying “You tell is what to love, what to hate, whats important, whats not” And the interviewers smug look the entire time talking to you like you and everything you say is completely ridiculous made me want to reach into the screen and slap that smirk off his face. But with all of his smirking and questions trying to get you irritated, you did very well. Jag January 26, 2013 at 1:26 am Teen age girl friends and older rich men are an accepted thing in American society. 🙂 Hugh Hefner is a good example. 😉 Jag January 26, 2013 at 1:17 am BTW, this is John McaFee’s flying motorcycle” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaBwb28pUG8 I want one!
