John McAfee ha sido detenido en Guatemala en la oficina de inmigración del SPT. (Especial fuerza policial)

Revista Vice ha filmado la detención, y será publicar el video en breve en su página web.

 

Esto no es una broma o una mala dirección.

    Los Estados Unidos tienen como 60 millones de inmigrantes ilegales, pero Guatemala no toleran un ciudadano de los EE.UU.? Él debe ser devuelto a los Estados Unidos y no de Belice, en todo caso.

    CNN dice que McAfee será enviado de vuelta a Belice mañana. Pensamiento Belice tenía ningún tratado de extradición con Belice. Quizás Enterers ilegales no son extraditados. Tal vez lo van a deportar a Belice, ya que es donde vive en lugar de a los EE.UU.. ¿Se ha sometido la solicitud de asilo?

    Él ha estado comportando como un hombre culpable por semanas. Belice puede ser corrupto y peligroso, pero eso no cambia el hecho de que el comportamiento escandaloso de McAfee le hace parecer culpable como el pecado. Y teniendo en cuenta su inteligencia, en realidad no es un fugitivo muy exitoso. Pero su demostración de la realidad que es entretenido! Lástima que esta es su última temporada.

    Sociópata es un término utilizado para definir a alguien como: “Una persona con un trastorno de la personalidad que se manifiesta en las actitudes y comportamientos antisociales extremas. ” Errrm…..que tipo de demostrarse que mal de su exhibición pública de afecto a su amada y la fiesta constante con todos sus amigos. Simplemente decir que el mini duende allí, si usted va a utilizar términos médicos para etiquetar a alguien, al menos, utilizar la correcta. John is an exuberant. Me encantó el traje de John! :D

    No es mi sentido, pero mi experiencia, que me dice que McAfee está jugando a todo el mundo aquí – triste! pero creo que todo el mundo necesita un juicio justo.

        ¿Se denuncian su U.S. ciudadanía y convertirse en un ciudadano de Belice? Lo pregunto porque si él sigue siendo un U.S. ciudadano y no hay orden de Belizian o internacional para su arresto, ¿por qué no simplemente deportarlo a los EE.UU.?

          Inseguro. Creo que John tiene la doble nacionalidad. EE.UU. / Belize. No me hagáis que.

          • Bueno, lo único que podemos esperar es la mejor de aquí. Me encontré con el vídeo de su detención y ahora no puedo encontrarla de nuevo, pero me sentí reconfortado al ver que él se fue con calma y no hubo ningún drama por parte de las autoridades. La única parte que era un poco molesto es que las chaquetas de las autoridades que se lo llevaron, dijo la Interpol y lo leí fue la inmigración que hizo el arresto. Espero que pueda mantener algún tipo de contacto con usted y escuchar de él pronto. Gracias por mantenernos actualizados.

          Creo que tiene la ciudadanía de EE.UU. / British,
          con residencia permanente en Belice.
          No estoy seguro de mí mismo.

            Él nació en Inglaterra y creció en los EE.UU.. Él tiene residencia permanente en Belice. Todo esto fue de acuerdo con él y su bio John.
            Me imagino que su pasaporte es para los EE.UU.. Le dijo a su abogado que había entrado sin visas o sellos. Esperemos que su abogado puede funcionar el sistema por lo que no tiene que volver a Belice.

    (Reuters) – Policía de Guatemala Arrestado U.S. software gurú John McAfee el miércoles por entrar ilegalmente en el país y dijo que le expulsaría a la vecina Belice, donde huyó después de ser buscado para ser interrogado por el asesinato de su vecino.

    McAfee, que había estado escondido durante tres semanas, cruzado a Guatemala con su novia, Samantha, para evadir a las autoridades de Belice que querían interrogarlo como “una persona de interés” sobre el asesinato de su compatriota Gregory Faull.

    “Entró en el país de forma ilegal y vamos a buscar su expulsión de este crimen,” Ministro del Interior, Mauricio López Bonilla, dijo.

    El portavoz del gobierno Guatemala Francisco Cuevas, dijo McAfee sería expulsado a Belice y se espera que el proceso se complete a principios de la mañana del jueves.

    No existe una orden de arresto internacional por McAfee. La policía de Belice dicen que es una persona de interés en la investigación de un asesinato y no es un sospechoso.

    McAfee fue llevado a una casa que pertenece al departamento de inmigración custodiado por un pequeño grupo de policías.

    El martes, McAfee dijo que buscaría asilo político en Guatemala, que se ha visto envuelta en una disputa territorial de larga data con Belice. No existe un tratado de extradición entre los dos países, y no hay captura internacional justifican por McAfee.

    McAfee dice que teme que las autoridades beliceñas lo matarían si volvía allí para ser interrogado. El primer ministro de Belice ha negado la afirmación, llamando a los 67 años de edad, empresario de software paranoico y “loco.”

    McAfee ha estado viviendo en la pequeña nación centroamericana durante unos cuatro años.

    Fue uno de los primeros empresarios de Silicon Valley para construir una fortuna en Internet. El ex consultor de sistemas de Lockheed comenzó McAfee Associates a finales de 1980.

    McAfee tiene ninguna relación ahora con la empresa, que ha sido vendido a Intel Corp.

    Vamos a calmarnos.
    Esto era de esperar dadas las circunstancias de que su presencia fue entregada antes de tiempo. Aviso ninguna mención de Sam haber sido tomado en (También podría ser porque ella había residido en Guatemala antes de). Tiene que pasar por las formalidades legales.

    Lo curioso es que la noticia es por todos los grupos de noticias, excepto Vice.

    No es por una entrada ilegal, ha sido arrestado supossedly por una rama de INTERPOL, debido a la exigencia de Belice, pero sé que esto tiene más que añadir

    Tranquilos lo an arrestado nada mas por que supuestamente a ingresado al pais sin crusar alguna frontera, pero las leyes guatemaltecas lo protegen no va a ser regresado a belize.

    Quiet as nothing but an arrest that allegedly entered the country without a border crusar but Guatemalan laws protecting it will not be returned to Belize.

    So his not in general pop. needless to say. Could be a welcome respite, at least won’t have to move every 4 hours for a while.. I’m picturing incarceration like in Goodfella’s — Lobster, scotch, bien, maybe not either one of those. Buena suerte McAfee.

      AP cont: “[McAfee] told The Associated Press that he formally applied for asylum Wednesday. ‘Yes, we are presenting this, and I want it to be clear, because of the persecution, not because of the murder,’ he told the AP.
      Belizean officials have denied persecuting McAfee, and the country’s prime minister has said he suspects McAfee is mentally unstable.”

      The PM of Belize publicly calling McAfee mentally unstable before the world press seems to be a form of persecution, slander at least.. It could serve as the pretext for Belize to incarcerate him without charging him with an actual crime.

    Sucks!!!! And althought most may not realize this it sucks for Belize as well. His story was giving World Wide exposure of the massive corruption in Belize. Even many many Belizeans were speaking out. Somthing which seems to be rare. It appears that some were banning together and finally speaking out. I beleive as time passed there would have been more and more and the fight against the corruption in Belize would get stronger and stronger. I lived in Bze for a number of years. The Country is a complete mess. Unless you have lived there it is something that cannot be understood. When I tell my friends and family of some of the nonsense that went on their they just could not imagine it. I am so Happy to be back in the U.S. But to be honest if Bze could get their SHIT together I would love to go back and dive from time to time, The way things are now I dont want to give one dollar to that economy. 99 cents would be stolen and go into the corrupt politicians to buy another house or support another mistress. The place is so messed up.

    This isnt an honest blog so I doubt this gets posted………..

    John is a fantastic salesman. I can see why he was so successful at business early on. He has essentially made everyone forget that his neighbor was killed execution style and he is the only suspect. He’s created this circus of corrupt government, yada, yada , yada, diverting everyone attention from the murder. When people found out his dirty little secret about bath salts and passing out high on his neighbors porch, he came up was a flimsy and unbelievable excuse which he successfully sold to a few people. He has a reward to find ” the killer” , similar to what OJ did. If he really wanted to find the killer he would help with the investigation, of course we all know why he cant do that. He lies constantly on his blog, in his video and seems to have manipulated many. One reporter sometime ago hit the nail on the head………………

    Sociopath. Charming , inteligente, but they only will every care about themselves. Its takes a while to uncover them. Its one of the reasons why he seems to go through friends and businesses so fast.

    He is being detained for entering Guatemala illegally. SInce he did not go through the usual border control and passport check, they will probably just make him pay a fine. He has a great lawyer and is seeking political asylum in Guatemala, a nation that is not too fond of Belize. My guess, is that this will be taken care of quickly.
