John has stated that most of the officials at the Embassy are Belize natiionals with local ties. He was wary of that.

Second, once entering the embassy he only had two options. First, stay indefinitely in the embassy as a political prisoner like Julian Assange…..or second, leave the embassy and be back in the clutches of the local Belize authorities.

The Embassy in Belize significantly narrowed his future options if he elected to hole up there.

It looks tasteful, low key, understated, & elegant. Not ostentatious or over the top, & her dress is lovely. It was early February & cold, so I think a short fur was appropriate & probably belonged to her mother. I guess I hate being unkind to 2 people I don’t know, especially about their wedding.

if we say are saying John is innocent and that he is scared for his life why Guatemala and not the US if he is well know person we have a US Embassy in Belize where he could be protected from the Belizean Authorities why run explain.

Mr. Bill Jones is mentioned above. His son Randy Jones was/is Chairman of Carmelita Village. Wasn’t Randy Jones Gillett in US prison? Wasn’t he in prison for stealing mail while he worked with the USPS?

It wasn’t that hard to find stuff that lends a lot of support to back up Johns story of corruption in Belize. The more i look in to this the more I’m convinced hes innocent and completely innocent at that.

By today’s standards, he may not be in the “one percent” anymore. BUT – do you think corruption only affects the one percent? THINK again. This is not a third-world-only problem, by the way. John should find the best country in the world. It’s called the ocean, and a thousand brave souls now call that a permanent home. I recommend eighty feet minimum, with sail power to go on the cheap when he wants. (he can probably afford more) If he loads it with winches and self furlers, he can ditch the crew if they decide to mutiny. Hit the South Pac. and island hop. Live life – that’s what it’s for …
