We are friends of Eddie and his family and wish to plead for the release of Eddie Ancona in this most extreme injustice. Eddie is a proud hard-working family man and father who is very respectable and honorable. We have worked closely with Eddie and his family and would do all we can to help him.
Please reconsider his detainment. It is devastating to his son who can never begin to understand why this is happening. His network of family and friends are as outraged as we are and something must be done!
Using this man is simply unfair and frankly, quite disgusting!

Assim, if he has a security team….the ones that are now locked up….where were they when the dogs were being poisoned? he had more than 10 dogs…you mean they all remained quiet while a total stranger walked up and poisoned them…waved to one of the many armed guards as well….STRANGE.

I think that the bar owner is responsible for the deaths, since he (the bar owner) did not like Mr. McAfee to have the girl living in his house, it is all clear as bottled water.
Primeiro, the dogs had to be poisoned, so that neither Mr. McAfee, nor the girl, would notice an intruder going in. Em seguida, the target failed, since they were both not home.
Assim, the bar owner went to the house next door and shot the owner, incriminating Mr. McAfee.
That same bar owner, since he knows a lot of people, due to his prostitution ring (ou “girl who lets men touch her” ring, but NO sex), the bar owner tells the people to talk trash and to “have heard” that Mr. McAfee said this or that.
Some of those “loyal customers” are even police officers or high ranking politicians in that country.
Mr. McAfee is about to “spill the beans” and let the people in Belize know who their politicians and corrupt police force really are, so they (politicians and police force) HAVE TO stop Mr. McAfee.
It is already too late, buddies. Mr. McAfee already wrote about all of you and the blog will not “autodestroy”, since it is in Russia or Sweden or somewhere where all of you, politicians and corrupt police officers cannot touch it at all.
There is still a good amount of police officers that are NOT corrupt (and the same goes about the politicians), but YOU, o “bad apples” make the others look bad.

It makes perfect sense to me that you were marked for a robbery, especially since it is a common occurrence for them to kill the guard/barking dogs the night before so as not to sound the “alarm” . But when they returned the next evening, all of the dogs had not been poisoned & they were afraid to enter. So they went to the next house where someone was home (they wanted money, possibly from a safe) & it was Greg Faull’s. Supposedly they had to get through a security door, so perhaps they had a female with them or one of them was known to Mr. Faull. They had to have done something to have been granted access.
Perfect sense. I do not believe that it has anything to do with the police or government coming after you at all, & that they are ONLY interested in you because of the unfortunate coincidence of Mr. Faull having just filed a formal complaint against you & your dogs being poisoned the night before.
I would really focus on the help & the workers around Ambergris Caye, because SOMEBODY knows something! Your taking off & hiding has turned the investigation onto you, which I do not think would ever have happened, if you had just acted normally. I think you’ve brought a huge amount of ill will & attention from the government that never had to be there. It has really created alot of anger &resentment & the backlash is going to be a bitch.
I wish you’d come out of hiding & just answer their damn questions. They came to ask you if you knew or heard anything & now much of the world thinks you’ve gone off the deep end. Just make sure no guns were stolen from your house since the raid & if not, you have no reason to be so paranoid. The murder has nothing to do with you & never did, but your behavior has put a big target on your back. End it!

Has anyone considered the possibility that the Belize justice system is working.
Maybe the reason two of these people are still in custody is the fact that they are guilty
of an offence and there is enough evidence to detain them, charge them and put them before a court. Maybe even enough evidence to implicate JM !!!

I would anticipate that the Government would be removing the dog’s heads to remove the police issue bullets. John and his money were the target. That’s why they killed the neighbour, and not him. Repercussions for not donating, and an incentive for him to donate a larger sum for it to go away. Emails sent from Australia voicing the corruption. Fique seguro.

CNN has an article up right now. The Belize government took the dogs’ heads because it was believed the dogs were shot by Mr. McAfee to put them out of their misery. The police are running ballistics to see if it matches the same bullet-type as was used to kill Mr. McAfee’s fellow ex-pat.

Do what is right. You know what that is in your heart. If there is a way out of the country, you should pursue that and get back to the U.S. and speak to the authorities. If you can’t, perhaps call them on the phone or go in with witnesses. You have friends there correct?
Whatever the situation, it’s not going to change until you speak to the authorities there.
You’re still relatively young, do you want to spend the rest of your days on the run? Do you have enough cash for that? Your entire electronic life is going to be frozen at some point.

It appears to me that quite possibly the person or persons that broke into the neighbor’s home and shot the man may have been responsible for the dog poisonings.
The original target for robbery/burglary may have been Mr. MacAfee and/or his property. Poisoning the dogs to silence them so the perpetrator(s) could later arrive unnoticed.
Once the perp(s) realized the poison only had effected a few of the dogs, and not wanting to leave empty handed, they moved on to the neighbor/victims home where he became the target.

Oi John , very possible , a very common way of doing things in Latin countries, as a mater of fact , a few weeks ago a friend in central America was victim of a home invasion , all guard dogs were poisoned the day before.

I’ve been posting something similar since he started the blog. Anyone who wants McAfee’s possessions only needed to poison his dogs, then either wait for him to act on that or act on it themselves as though he’s going for retribution. I’m not a fan of his lifestyle and think he’s a big perv but it appears he’s being framed based on the arrests of those closest to him.
Decapitating the dogs he had to shoot was an attempt to escalate things and draw him out. That was no accident – there were other ways to do the forensics without doing that.
And anyone who says if he’s innocent he should just go talk to the police to clear his name either didn’t read the articles he linked to early on, or you’re naive about third world countries.

Emails sent, please do the same, it only takes 2 minutes for simple attempt of some sort of justice , these individuals are being held with no charges and held in the worst conditions , specially when you have committed no crime (there is not a single detention unit in Latin America that can offer any level of security or well-being)
