The Prime Minister’s Directive
Through a series of clever constitutional changes, The Belizean Prime Minster – Dean Barrow – has solidified his power as absolute as any dictator. So when he gives an order, it is obeyed, whether within the bounds of law or not. For example: In mid April last year Barrow told the GSU – “Get Arthur Young at all costs”. Two days later Arthur Young was handcuffed, with his hands behind his back, and was shot and killed by the police. [...]

Some people have posted inflamatory comments about a couple of subjects that, clearly, they do not have a full understanding of. The first is the exif data (the date, time, type of camera, etc.) attached to many of my photos. Anyone who has done a photo montage will know that the exif data for the final product will be the exif data for the lowest element of the montage. Since most of my photos are montages, with a variety of [...]
The Girls – Part Two
This part two post will itself have to be divided into two parts. It turned out much larger than I thought The photo above is of one of the American women working both in Miami and in Belize. Frequently government ministers and officials flew to Miami (two hours from Belize City) for business, pleasure, parties or what have you. I needed resources in Miami to keep tabs on targets. Nicky is prepping a few computers for delivery to “friends” [...]
The Girls
I thought I would do a brief introduction to some of the the girls who, by and large lived with me full time. Without the assistance of these girls, It would have taken years to prime the socially engineered system that I put into place in Belize. Sam was central in helping me manage and control the network. She got along with all of the girls and her superior intelligence and quick wit usually allowed her to anticipate problems [...]
The GSU Escalates Its Violence
I received the following email today from Pedro Castellanos, a representative of a group of Latin American holders of the defaulted Belizean Superbond. Belizean bond holders have lost hundreds of millions of dollars over the past year due to Prime Minister Dean Barrow’s default: Dear Mr. Mcafee, I represent a group of Belize 2029 bondholders from Latin America who are not satisfied with the bond negotiations taking place between Dean Barrow and the bondholders’ coordinating committee. Some of us [...]

After the April raid on my property in Orange Walk I went on the offensive. I had asked for a simple apology and had received none. I was pissed. They had shot my dog, destroyed my property and stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of things that I valued. They have still not been returned. I purchased 75 cheap laptop computers and, with trusted help, installed invisible keystroke logging software on all of them – the kind that [...]

It’s Christmas day and I’m taking a break from the seriousness of my upcoming January 3rd post. I thought I might post the picture story of the first half of Sam’s and my escape from Belize and my eventual arrival in the States. It’s visually interesting and it is mostly a happy story – in line with most Christmas stories. I’ll start with our arrival, undercover, in Belize City a few days prior to our departure on our exit [...]

I apologize for my absence from the blog. I took some alone time – much needed, and I took time to collect my thoughts and my data. I am safe now, in the country in which I grew up, went to school, got married and had children. It is a country of laws and due process. It is a country that allows freedom of speech – something that I have dearly missed in the 5 years I spent in Belize. [...]
Hello from John
Hello readers, I apologize for my recent absence and lack of updates. Due to the terrible events at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton Conn, I have decided to take a few days absence from public life. I will resume with my blog activities in a few days. Do your best to forget the name of the shooter, and remember the innocent victims of this terrible act. Charlotte Bacon, 02-22-06 Daniel Barden, 09-25-05 Rachel Davino, 07-17-83 Olivia Engel, [...]
A note from John/Harold
Shorty after my detention, the Government of Belize lobbied Guatemala to have my access to the Internet cut off. This would have crippled my ability to fight what was happening. I had anticipated this and had a plan. The Guatemalans, by the way, have been as nice to me as my own family. The guards and orderlies have been supportive and have treated me with kindness. The officials have been apologetic and pointed to the upcoming peace accord with [...]
File post 5
I have a monumental task ahead of me. Much of the groundwork has been laid by Mr. McAfee in his prior posts. Blogging while on the run, however, is probably not an easy task, which is why, I assume, Mr. McAfee left so much out of his previous posts. I am trying to sort through the evidence data and am attempting to create a correspondence between John’s posts and the mountain of names, dates and places that I now possess. [...]

By: Harold M Mr. McAfee finally confronted Marcia on July 27th and demaded to know the truth. When she was presented with undeniable evidence she confessed to everything. John considered his options, which were limited. He could not go to the police, since, as you will later see, police officers were involved in the plot and any report would alert the officers or cause Mr. McAfee’s immediate arrest. He chose to attempt to meet with Eric and James Swan and [...]

Blogging from jail
I am in jail in Guatemala. Vastly superior to Belize jails. I asked for a computer and one magically appeared. The coffee is also excellent. Only time will tell what will happen. No one has a crystal ball. However, I would be truly shocked if I did not conduct the press conference tomorrow as I had originally planned. Stay tuned. I believe, by the way, that blogging from a jail cell might be a groundbreaking activity. Let’s see if it [...]

On Thursday, 6th of December, I will host a press conference in Guatemala City at 2:00 P.M. Guatemala City time. I will be joined by my attorney and former Attorney General of Guatemala, Telésforo Guerra. I will read a prepared statement and then open up the floor for questions. The conference will end at 4:00 P.M. The venue will be announce on this blog tomorrow, December 5th. I will also be selecting questions from the Internet community. If you have [...]
The New Fight
I have retained Telésforo Guerra, former Attorney General for the country of Guatemala, to assist in my fight against the Government of Belize. Mr. Guerra is one of most prominent attorneys in Guatemala and, as a shared border neighbor, is well versed in the intricate system of corruption with the Belizean Government. Mr. Guerra is Samantha’s uncle. I have, in the past three weeks, had no contact with the American Embassy in Belize. Since many employees of the Embassy are [...]

I apologize for all of the misdirections over the past few days. It was not easy to exit Belize and required many supporters in many countries. I am in Guatemala and will be meeting with Guatemalan officials this morning. If all goes well I will do a press conference tomorrow. Vice Magazine reporters are indeed with me in Guatemala. Yesterday was chaotic due to the accidental release of my exact co-ordinates by an unseasoned technician at Vice headquarters. We made [...]

We have received hundreds of serious offers for help since this blog began. If you have been following the comments in this blog, which now number over 3,000, you will have seen many of these offers. I would like to thank everyone of you: I have received 18 offers from people who wanted to help extract me from Belize. I have emailed all of you. With the exception of three, none of you asked for money or any other sort [...]
A respite from the wilderness
Today Sam and I were secreted into one of our close friend’s houses for a few hours where, for the first time in a while, Sam was able to cook us a meal and I was able to take a hot, hot bath – my new love in life. Here is Sam, displaying her exuberance at the simple pleasures of a table: And utensils: As for me, after my bath I enjoyed the simple pleasures of a chair,an old TV [...]
The MDPV/Bath Salts Connection
Much has been said in the press (and many questions in this blog) about my alleged use of MDPV (bath salts). it’s time to put that issue to rest. Pure MDPV is the most addictive substance known to man. Erowid (erowid.org) is the the largest repository of drug usage reports on the Internet. Drug addicts, casual users, scientists and researchers post information about known drugs – the drug side effects, subjective experience, behavior modifications and addictive qualities. If you log [...]
Belize Goverment Website Down
The official Belize Government Website has been down for nearly 24 hours. In addition, the comment form on the Belize Tourism Association Website just went down. One of two things has happened: 1. The millions of readers of this blog really did do what I asked and the volume of traffic has overwhelmed their system .- or – 2. The Government has purposely shut their systems down to prevent the rank and file employees from knowing what is happening. No [...]
The Government’s Next Step
I still have friends within the Government here, not many, but enough. I have been hearing, through the DPP’s office (the DPP is like the Attorney General in the States), that the Government is giving up on attempting to stick the murder charge on me, and is now looking for ways in which I violated the draconic gun laws here in Belize. In actuality, this has been their plan for months. A security consultant that I hired some months ago [...]
An apology to my readers
I must apologize for my recent testiness in answering some of your comment questions. I have to read close to 50,000 words per day, many of them blatant spam or vicious, unprintable replies to other comenters. I answer about 40 questions per day, some of them very involved, and have answered many of them a dozen times or more. I got a bit testy. I am sorry. I hope this recent explaination (my reply to a commenter) will suffice for [...]
The Panic
I have posted enough supporting documentation – audio tapes, photos, for those involved to realize that I really do have everything documented. As with all unfolding stories, it’s the folks at the bottom who panic first. Amy Chawla (Arthur Young’s – the young man killed by the GSU – ex-girlfriend) – who only briefly appeared in this blog, (and just as briefly involved in my life), and in no very incriminating way, just posted this message to my Facebook: To [...]
An Apology to Jeff Wise
I have erroneously accused Jeff Wise of improper behaviour on a reporting trip that he did to my flying ranch in New Mexico. I finally received the photos from that trip and was going to publish them, and when I looked at them, to my horror, it was a different reporter (whose name I will obviously not release) from a different magazine, on a different trip. I wish that I could excuse myself due to the fact that I did dozens of [...]
Synopsis Thus Far
Some are having difficulty keeping up, and I cannot blame you. More than 30 posts and more than 800,000 words, including comments. That’s a sizeable novel. Everyone cannot be expected to be thorough on a topic of passing interest. So I will do a synopsis of what has been posted so far, with indicators pointing to the actual posts if you want more information. I hope this helps: In April of this year my property on the mainland was raided [...]
Transcript of First Anthony Rhaburn Recording
To those who viewed this last week – my apologies. The original “Second Transcript” got deleted so I re-posted it. New readers are reading it first and are lost, so I reposted the first tape transcript. If you have already read it, then ignore it. The media has portrayed me as paranoid. I am a poor judge, since if I am paranoid, it is a paranoid mind judging itself. However, I am a technologist and use that as best I [...]
transcript of Second Anthony Rhaburn Tape
Note: This post was accidently deleted. Sorry. This transcript was made by a fluent Creole speaker. The English may not be up to par but I have left it as I received it, rather than risk “interference” and clean it up. It is intelligible: (the BDF, mentioned in the ttape, is the Belizean Army). Juni- Mr. Tony! Tony- what’s going on. what do you have for me Juni- I saw the guy. he was acting like a bitch Tony- which [...]
Samantha revisited
When Samantha submitted her first post, she insisted on choosing her own photo. She choose one with heavy makeup and multiple adornments, which for Sam’s culture would be required for a formal presentation of oneself. A large number of both male and female readers were unkind in their comments and a few were rude to the point of uncalled for profanity. I finally convinced Sam that some foreigners had never had the oportunity to step outside their yards and see [...]
The attempted raid of October 15th
The Attempted Raid of October 15th Sam and I began our ungerground oddessey, not on the day after Mr. Faul’s death, but on Monday, the 15th of October, early in the morning. I am leaving gaps between the earlier post – “The Letter”, and this post, because, in the end, I believe it weaves a better story. Forgive me for not including photographs with this post but my access to that specific library at this point is limited, due to [...]
The Reporter
The Financial Times of London is one of the last respectable newspers. That’s why I invited one of its most objective reporters – Adam Thomson – to travel with Samantha and I. He readilly agreed, and after a two day, circuitous journey from Mexico, involving transfers, pickups, roundabouts and backtracking (to ensure he was not followed), we met in person today. I would like to say that Adam appears in every respect to be a true gentleman, and a professional [...]

As all of my close friends know, I have not always been a teetotalling, drug fighting citizen. Prior to 1983 I was a synthesis of corporate manager and drug dealer. The drug dealer eventually won out, and for a period of time that was my only occupation. Well ….. taking the drugs that I sold also became a principal occupation. This is not a secret, I tell anyone who asks, even the press. Not many in the press reported much [...]
A small description of corruption
The average tourist in Third World countries seldom comes into contact with the real culture that they are lead to believe they are visiting. You fly into an International airport, are picked up and whisked to a hotel where your comings and goings are regulated by the hotel staff – through activity bookings – or the tour or travel companies that take you to allegedly see the “real” country. Even a walk into town on your own reveals little because, [...]
Police Press statement
Raphael Martinez: “When it comes to the case of McAfee, the latest information from San Pedro Police Station is that he’s still at large and he is still wanted for questioning. Once again, we appeal to the general public and his friends to come forward and encourage him to come in so that we could put this case to rest or answer some questions regarding the murder of Mr. Faull. We believe that he is a person of interest based [...]
Prison Conditions
We have had to address a security issue (hackers) with the site. This post has been re-created and it’s early comments posted as plain text. I have three freinds in prison here in Belize at the moment. In the word’s imagination, prison is a place with beds, showers and food. You may imagine it to be clean. You may imagine that blankets and possibly pillows are provided. You may imagine that there are toilets. I spent 7 hours in a Belize [...]
